Trademark and Brand Use.

How you may refer to wrxstack, Atlas, Folio, and the five-bar stack logo. What you can do without asking, what is not allowed, how to ask for permission, and how to report misuse.

Effective date: 2026-10-27.

This Trademark and Brand Use Policy (this "Policy") explains how anyone may use the names, logos, and other brand features of wrxstack ("wrxstack", "we", "us"). It applies to every use of those brand features, whether on a website, in an app, in print, in a video, in advertising, or anywhere else, and whether or not you have an account with us.

The goal of this Policy is simple. People who see the wrxstack name or logo should be able to trust that it points to wrxstack, and should never be misled into thinking that something comes from us, or is approved by us, when it does not. Within that limit, we want it to be easy for you to write about our products, build on them, and tell people that your work connects to them.

The short version

Fine without asking

Refer to us accurately

Name wrxstack, Atlas, or Folio to describe them, review them, teach them, compare them, or say your product "works with" them.

Permitted uses
Not allowed

Do not borrow our identity

Do not put our names or logo in your company, product, or domain name, change the logo, or suggest that we endorse or partner with you.

Prohibited uses
Everything else

Ask first, in writing

Email contact@wrxstack.com with the subject "Brand use request". Permission is free.

How to ask

No silence means yes. If a use is not clearly allowed by this Policy and you have not received written permission from us, do not make that use. Permission is never implied by the fact that we did not object.

1. Scope and how this Policy works

This Policy covers the brand features listed in section 2 (together, the "wrxstack Marks"). It applies to the wrxstack website at wrxstack.com and to the wrxstack products, including Atlas at atlas.wrxstack.com and Folio, the portfolio and personal-site builder, at portfolio.wrxstack.com (together, the "Service").

The visual rules for the logo, the wordmark, color, and type are set out in our Brand Guidelines, and the approved logo files are in the Logo Kit. This Policy sets out the legal rules for using those features. Where this Policy and the Brand Guidelines both apply, follow both. If they appear to differ, this Policy controls.

Who operates wrxstack. wrxstack is an independent, privately owned product run by a small team. Every request and report under this Policy is handled through contact@wrxstack.com.

2. Our brand features

The wrxstack Marks include the following, in any form, style, or color, and any name, logo, or design that is confusingly similar to them:

Brand featureWhat it identifies
wrxstackThe name and lowercase wordmark of wrxstack and its products, including the wordmark with the coral x.
AtlasThe wrxstack AI workspace at atlas.wrxstack.com, when used as the name of that product.
FolioThe wrxstack portfolio builder at portfolio.wrxstack.com, when used as the name of that product.
The five-bar stack logoThe mark made of five horizontal bars stacked in a rounded tile, with or without the tile, in every color variant shown in the Logo Kit.
LockupsCombinations of the stack logo and the wordmark, and module lockups such as "Tasks · wrxstack", as shown in the Brand Guidelines.
Domain nameswrxstack.com and every subdomain of it.

Ownership. The wrxstack Marks are trademarks and brand features of wrxstack. Nothing on this page states, or should be read as stating, that any of them is registered in any country. We rely on the rights that the law of each country gives to names and logos in use, which in many places include rights in marks that are not registered. Using the word "trademark" on this page is a description of how we use these features, not a statement about registration.

Common words. "Atlas" and "Folio" are ordinary words that many other people use. We do not claim those words in general. This Policy applies to them only when they are used as, or in a way that could be taken for, the names of the wrxstack products.

3. Four rules behind every use

Every rule in this Policy comes from four principles. If a situation is not covered below, apply these.

  1. Be accurate. Say only what is true about wrxstack and about your relationship with us.
  2. Do not cause confusion. A reader must never be unsure whether something is made by wrxstack or by you.
  3. Do not imply endorsement. Do not suggest that wrxstack sponsors, approves, certifies, or partners with you, your product, or your content unless we have agreed to that in writing.
  4. Use our brand as it is. Do not change, combine, or decorate the wrxstack Marks, and use only as much of them as you need.

4. Uses that do not need permission

You may use the wrxstack names, and where stated the logo, for the purposes below without asking us, as long as you follow the four rules in section 3 and the rest of this Policy.

  • Referring to our products. Using the words wrxstack, Atlas, or Folio in ordinary text to name our products, for example "I built my site with wrxstack Folio".
  • Reviews, news, and commentary. Writing articles, reviews, blog posts, videos, social media posts, research, and opinion about wrxstack, including critical opinion.
  • Teaching and documentation. Tutorials, courses, guides, and documentation that explain how to use our products.
  • Integration and compatibility statements. Stating truthfully that your product, template, plug-in, or service works with, integrates with, or is built for use with Atlas or Folio, using the wording shown in section 10.
  • Fair comparison. Comparing your product with ours, provided the comparison is accurate, current, and not misleading.
  • Linking. Linking to wrxstack.com or to our products using our name as the link text.
  • The logo, in limited cases. Showing the unmodified stack logo or wordmark from the Logo Kit to identify wrxstack in an article, a review, a list of supported tools, or a list of integrations, at a size no larger than the other logos or headings beside it.

These uses reflect what many legal systems already allow, such as nominative fair use in the United States and use in accordance with honest practices under the EU Trade Mark Regulation and the UK Trade Marks Act 1994. This Policy is more specific than those laws. It does not take away any right the law gives you to refer to our products.

5. Writing our names correctly

  • Write wrxstack in lowercase, as one word, even at the start of a sentence or in a title. Do not write "WrxStack", "WRXSTACK", or "Wrx Stack".
  • Write Atlas and Folio with a capital letter. Where the word alone could be unclear, write "wrxstack Atlas" or "wrxstack Folio", or "Atlas by wrxstack".
  • Use our names as names, not as verbs, plurals, or possessives of something else. Write "build a site with wrxstack Folio", not "wrxstack your site".
  • Do not shorten, abbreviate, translate, or combine our names with other words to make a new name, such as "wrx", "Atlas Pro", or "FolioHub".
  • Do not add the (R) symbol or any statement that our marks are registered.

Where this Policy allows the logo, or where we have given you written permission, the following rules apply:

  • Use only the files in the Logo Kit. Do not redraw, retype, or trace the logo or the wordmark.
  • Do not change the shape, proportions, colors, bar count, or spacing. Do not rotate, stretch, outline, animate, or add shadows, glows, or effects.
  • Keep the clear space and minimum sizes set out in the Brand Guidelines, and place the logo on a background that keeps it easy to read.
  • Do not combine the logo with your own name, logo, or any other mark to form a new lockup, and do not place it inside your own logo.
  • Do not make the wrxstack logo the most prominent feature of your page, product, or material. Your own brand should be the main identity on anything you make.
  • Do not use the logo in a way that suggests your product, page, or account is an official wrxstack product, page, or account.

7. Uses that are not allowed

Unless we have agreed in writing, you may not:

  • use any wrxstack Mark, or anything confusingly similar, as part of the name of your company, business, product, service, app, extension, template collection, community, or event;
  • suggest, directly or indirectly, that wrxstack endorses, sponsors, certifies, approves, or partners with you or your product, including by using words such as "official", "certified", "approved", "partner", or "recommended by wrxstack";
  • change, distort, or combine the logo or wordmark, or create a logo that looks like it, as described in section 6;
  • use a wrxstack Mark in a domain name, subdomain, social media handle, or account name, as described in section 8;
  • use a wrxstack Mark in advertising or search keywords in a way that could confuse people, as described in section 9;
  • use a wrxstack Mark to imitate our website, sign-in pages, emails, or messages, or to collect passwords, payment details, or other personal information from anyone;
  • use a wrxstack Mark on or in connection with content that is unlawful, deceptive, harmful, or that would breach our Acceptable Use Policy;
  • make false or misleading statements about wrxstack, or present an unfair comparison;
  • register, or apply to register, any wrxstack Mark or anything confusingly similar as a trademark, business name, or company name anywhere;
  • sell, give away, or distribute goods bearing a wrxstack Mark, as described in section 12.

8. Domain names, handles, and app names

Domain names, social media handles, usernames, and app store listings are among the most common sources of confusion. For that reason:

  • Do not register or use any domain name that contains a wrxstack Mark, a misspelling of one, or something confusingly similar, such as "wrxstack-login.com", "wrxstackapp.net", or "atlas-wrxstack.io". Product names used as a common word in an unrelated domain, such as a travel site with "atlas" in its name, are not affected.
  • Do not create a social media account, handle, group, server, or channel whose name or picture suggests that it is run by wrxstack. A fan or user community may describe its topic, for example "A community for wrxstack users, not affiliated with wrxstack", provided its name does not start with or consist of a wrxstack Mark and it does not use the logo as its picture.
  • Do not publish an app, extension, plug-in, or listing in any store or marketplace under a name or icon that includes a wrxstack Mark or the stack logo.

If you already hold a name that breaks these rules, we ask that you stop using it and, for a domain name, transfer or let it lapse. We may use the dispute processes that domain registries and platforms provide, as described in section 15.

9. Advertising and search keywords

  • Do not use a wrxstack Mark in the headline, display URL, or sponsor name of an advertisement in a way that suggests the advertisement is from wrxstack or that your product is ours.
  • Do not bid on a wrxstack Mark as a search or social advertising keyword where the advertisement that appears could lead a reasonable person to believe that it is from wrxstack or connected with us.
  • An advertisement that names wrxstack only to make a truthful, fair comparison, and that clearly shows your own brand as the advertiser, is a comparison under section 4, not a misuse. It must still be accurate and must not use our logo.
  • Do not use a wrxstack Mark in hidden text, metadata, or tags to attract search traffic to content that is not about wrxstack.

10. Integrations, apps, and developer tools

Atlas offers a REST API, webhooks, and support for MCP servers, and both products connect to other services. If you build something that works with our products:

  • Name it with your own brand. You may describe its purpose with wording such as "works with Atlas", "for wrxstack Folio", or "integrates with wrxstack".
  • In an integration directory or list of supported tools, you may list wrxstack, Atlas, or Folio by name, and show the unmodified logo from the Logo Kit beside the other logos in the same list.
  • When you register an application with a sign-in provider or an API, do not use a wrxstack Mark as the application name or icon. People who see a consent screen must be able to tell that the application is yours.
  • Do not describe your integration as official, certified, verified, or supported by wrxstack. Being able to use our API does not mean wrxstack has reviewed or approved what you build.
  • State clearly, where it could help a reader, that your product is not made by wrxstack. For example: "Acme Sync is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by wrxstack."

Using our API and products is governed by the Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy. This Policy governs only how you refer to us while doing so.

11. Press, education, and commentary

Journalists, writers, educators, researchers, and creators may use our names and the unmodified logo to illustrate coverage, teaching, or commentary about wrxstack. Accurate descriptions and the approved files are on our Press and Brand page, the Brand Guidelines, and the Logo Kit. Parody and criticism are welcome, provided no reasonable reader would mistake them for something published by wrxstack.

12. Merchandise, events, and printed items

Clothing, stickers, mugs, and other goods bearing a wrxstack Mark, and events, meetups, courses, or awards that use a wrxstack Mark in their name or promotion, need our written permission first. A meetup or course that is about wrxstack may describe its subject in text, for example "A meetup about building with Atlas", without permission, provided it is not named after a wrxstack Mark and does not suggest that wrxstack organizes it.

13. How to ask for permission

For any use that this Policy does not clearly allow, ask us first.

  1. Email contact@wrxstack.com with the subject line Brand use request.
  2. Tell us who you are, the organization you represent if any, and how we can reach you.
  3. Describe the use: which wrxstack Mark, where it will appear, the audience, how long the use will last, and why you need it.
  4. Attach a draft, mock-up, or link that shows the use as it will appear.
  5. Wait for our written reply before you go ahead. We reply as soon as we reasonably can. If you have not heard from us, the answer is not yet yes.

What permission means. Any permission we give is personal to you, covers only the use we describe in writing, is not exclusive, cannot be transferred or sublicensed, and can be withdrawn by us at any time by written notice. If we withdraw permission, you must stop the use within a reasonable period that we state in the notice. We may decline any request, and we do not have to give a reason. No permission arises from this Policy itself, from a past use we did not object to, or from your use of our products or API.

14. How to report misuse

If you see a website, domain, account, app, advertisement, or message that uses a wrxstack Mark in a way that seems misleading, or that pretends to be wrxstack, please tell us.

  • Email contact@wrxstack.com with the subject line Brand misuse report.
  • Include links, screenshots, the date you saw it, and any other detail that helps us find and assess it.
  • If you think the page or message is trying to collect passwords or payment details while posing as wrxstack, say so in the subject line. Do not enter any details into it, and if you already have, change your wrxstack password straight away.

Official wrxstack addresses end in wrxstack.com. Our products run at atlas.wrxstack.com and portfolio.wrxstack.com. We do not ask for your password or a one-time code by email, chat, or phone.

We aim to review every report we receive. We may not be able to tell you what action we took, especially where another party is involved, but your report helps us protect the people who use wrxstack. Reporting a security weakness in the Service, rather than brand misuse, is covered by our Responsible Disclosure Policy.

15. What we do about misuse

When we find a use that breaks this Policy, we usually start by contacting the person responsible and asking them to correct it. Most issues are resolved this way. Where that does not work, or where the misuse is deceptive or harmful, we may:

  • ask the platform, marketplace, advertising network, or hosting provider concerned to remove or restrict the content;
  • use the dispute procedures that apply to domain names, including those offered by domain registries;
  • suspend or close any wrxstack account involved, under the Terms of Service;
  • take any other step that the law allows.

The fact that we do not act on a particular use, or act later, does not mean we accept it and does not waive any of our rights.

16. Third-party trademarks on our site

Our website and products mention the names and logos of other companies and products so that you can see what our products work with and how they compare. These include, among others:

  • Sign-in providers: Facebook and Meta, Microsoft, Google, Apple, LinkedIn, GitHub, GitLab, X, and Discord;
  • Integrations and identity services named on our integration pages, such as Slack, Salesforce, and Okta;
  • Products we compare ourselves with on our comparison, alternatives, and migration pages, such as Notion, ClickUp, Asana, HubSpot, Wix, Squarespace, and Webflow;
  • Service providers named on our sub-processor list, and AI model providers named elsewhere on the site.

All such names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. We use them only to identify those companies and products, to describe accurately how our products connect with them, or to make a fair comparison. Their appearance on our site does not mean that any of those owners sponsors, endorses, or is affiliated with wrxstack, or that wrxstack is affiliated with them, unless we say so expressly. We aim to show sign-in buttons in line with the branding rules each provider publishes for its own sign-in service.

Comparisons on our site reflect our understanding of publicly available information at the time of writing, and products change. If you own a mark we mention and believe a reference is inaccurate, out of date, or does not follow your brand guidelines, email contact@wrxstack.com and we may review it and, at our discretion, correct anything we find to be inaccurate.

17. Trademark concerns about content on the Service

People who use our products publish their own content, such as portfolio pages. That content belongs to them and is not wrxstack's. If you believe content hosted on the Service infringes your trademark, follow section 7 of our Copyright and DMCA Policy. Content that infringes another person's trademark is also prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy.

18. No fees and no compensation

We do not charge any fee, royalty, or licensing charge to use the wrxstack Marks in line with this Policy or under written permission we give. Nothing in this Policy, in a permission we give, in a report you make, or in any action we take under it creates a right to any payment, credit, reimbursement, reward, or compensation of any kind, for either you or us. Permission to use our brand is not a sponsorship, partnership, or commercial agreement.

19. How this Policy relates to other terms

This Policy supplements the Terms of Service, which state that the Service, including its trademarks, is owned by wrxstack or its licensors. This Policy does not grant you any license to any wrxstack Mark beyond the limited uses it describes, and it does not grant any right in our software, content, or other intellectual property. Where we have given you written permission that differs from this Policy, that written permission controls for the use it covers. Nothing in this Policy limits any right you have under the law to make a fair, accurate reference to wrxstack.

20. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes to our products, our brand, or the law. The effective date at the top shows the current version. A change does not affect a written permission we gave before the change, which continues on its own terms until it ends or is withdrawn. If an update means that a use you were already making is no longer allowed, we may, at our discretion, allow a period to bring it into line.

This Policy explains our practices. It is not a contract, and it does not create any contractual obligation, warranty, guarantee, or right for you or for any other person. The only agreements between you and wrxstack are the Terms of Service and, where it applies, the Data Processing Addendum.

Timelines and targets in this Policy are goals we aim to meet, not guarantees, except where a law that applies to us sets a deadline, in which case we follow that law. Nothing in this Policy increases wrxstack's liability. The disclaimers, the limitation of liability, and the other protections in the Terms of Service apply to everything this Policy describes. Nothing in this Policy limits a right you have under a law that cannot be limited by agreement.
